Don’t Miss It!

The North Braddock Borough is thrilled to announce its 2nd Annual Fall Festival, taking place on Sunday, October 6, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Bell Avenue. The festivities will begin with an exciting parade at 12:00 p.m., starting at Legends Park (corner of Fourth Street and Hawkins Avenue) and proceeding down Hawkins Avenue to the festival site on Bell Avenue.

The North Braddock Borough Council is proud to host this event, which serves as a celebration of community spirit, resilience, and unity. The Fall Festival continues to be a highlight of the Borough’s commitment to fostering connections among residents and creating opportunities for fun and civic engagement.

Grand Marshalls

This year, we are proud to honor two Grand Marshalls:

  • Chief Derrick Turner of the newly formed Eastern Regional Mon Valley Police Department, who has been instrumental in enhancing safety and cooperation across the region.
  • Mrs. Wilma Walters, a lifelong North Braddock resident who turned 100 years old on August 7, 2024. Mrs. Walters is not only our newest centenarian but perhaps North Braddock’s only living centenarian, representing a rich history and deep connection to our community.

Activities & Attractions

The festival will feature a variety of exciting activities and attractions, including:

  • Games and rides for all ages
  • bicycle giveaway with multiple chances to win throughout the day
  • A range of delicious offerings from food trucks
  • A diverse selection of local vendors showcasing arts, crafts, and merchandise
  • Live entertainment with music from DJ L Beezy and a high-energy performance by the Franchise Band
  • Opportunities to win prizes and enjoy refreshments in a family-friendly environment

We are thrilled to see the growth of the Fall Festival and the excitement it brings to the community. This is a day for families, neighbors, and friends to enjoy, and we look forward to another successful celebration of North Braddock’s unique spirit.
