I’m a product of my environment. I’m proud of where I’m from. —Steve Breaston, NFL Wide Receiver, Humanitarian & North Braddock Native
North Braddock Borough has a lot to be proud of, a formidable football town, a town of small businesses (some gone), home of the Andrew Carnegie steel industry (US Steel) and a town that has become a perfect venue for the film industry.
North Braddock has a lot to offer. Its historic past provides the basis for its evolving revitalization. Join us, enjoy and share in our pride as a strong, independent town that survived 1980s de-industrialization of the Pittsburgh region. North Braddock is a town of tough strong people who know how to flourish in the face of adversity.
North Braddock is a great place to live and raise a family due to its close proximity to the City of Pittsburgh, public access transit and affordable housing. The Borough is located 10 miles south east of Pittsburgh, has a population of 4750 and comprises approximately 1.64 sq. miles.
