Liberty, Equality and Justice
The North Braddock Police Department was incorporated in 1897, which consisted of a Chief and nine Patrol Officers, who were assigned to police the Borough of 1.64 square miles. Currently, the Police Department consists of two Sergeants, and seven Patrol Officers lead by Chief Isaac Daniele. The department has two marked patrol vehicles, one low profile (ghost) marked and one unmarked unit. The Department utilizes an updated computer reporting system along with mobile data terminals for documenting and obtaining information.
The Department’s goals are to maintain a high standard of policing and to provide a safe community with highly trained and educated officers. In partnership with the community, we strive to preserve the peace and provide a safe environment for all by upholding the mission of the department. The Primary goals of the North Braddock Police Department are many and diverse. They include the protection of life and property, resolution of conflicts, and provision for a feeling of security in the community. The department also endeavors to reduce the opportunities for the commission of crime through prevention strategies and identification, apprehension, and prosecution of offenders, as well as the preservation of the peace in the Borough of North Braddock.
